Born in Canada and raised in Louisiana and the Bay Area, Crystal Tran made her way towards Southern California by going to the University of California, Santa Barbara to earn her Business Economics degree. No longer willing to sacrifice her happiness for her parents' expectations, she immediately enrolled herself into the Esthetician program at the Santa Barbara Community College Cosmetology Academy and applied for M.A.C Cosmetics. Her admiration for makeup started in high school doing makeup applications for events that included proms, quinceaneras, and cotillions. Her artistry has evolved from a hobby into a love that turned career. Currently, Crystal is a full-time Freelance Makeup Artist based in the City of Angels working on photo shoots, commercials, music videos, fashion shows, television, and weddings. She takes great delight in building lasting relationships with her clients and helping them illuminate their unique inner confidence and beauty that they each possess.
